Youth mobility project “Go green” connects young people, aged 14 – 18 from Lithuania, Bulgaria, Italy and Slovenia. The main aim of this project is to promote environmental understanding, green thinking, active participation and being nature friendly through outdoor education and nonformal education methods.
Objectives of this project are:
1. To introduce topics of sustainability, upcycling, nature friendly camping, and active participation.
2. To encourage communication and cooperation of young people to promote nature friendly being and active participation through interactive games, activities and workshops.
3. To give opportunities to young people to take initiative and responsibilities, to get out of their comfort zone during activities and interactions and to become more active participants and citizens and improve social skills.
4. To promote intercultural learning by improving knowledge about different cultures and making connections with young people in different countries.
In youth mobility project “Go green” 2 activities were implemented: prepatory visit and youth exchange.
On May 2 – 5th a preparatory visit took place in Vilkaviškis, Klevine and Vilnius, where partners met and introduced their organizations, national groups and their expectations, revized programme, partner responsibilities and made final changes in a programme, decided on common rules and risk prevention / management plan, went to check the venue, etc. Two representatives (1 leader and 1 young person) attended APV to represent their organizations and national groups.
Youth Exchanges were held June 30th – July 5th, 2025 in Klevine. (Lithuania). Every partner organization (Vilkaviškio vaikų ir jaunimo centras (LT), ASD AMEE. BAITY APS (IT), MALO DRUGAČE, Zavod za pozitivne spremembe v družbi (SL), Alter Academium Ltd (BG) sent 8 young people and 2 group leaders, in total there were 40 persons. A full 6 day programme was organized. Programme was base on nonformal and outdoor education methods and shared responsibility among partners and participants initiatives. The age of participants was 13 – 18 years old, those who attends or are involved in partners’ activities, who are interested in being outdoors and nature, are active and civic. There were 8 group leaders, who were 18+ years old, experienced in working with young people.
